Widows Sons Wyvern Chapter

Our Senior Deacon, Bro Sean Biggins, is the Vice President of the bikers Widows Sons Wyvern Chapter that covers Somerset and Gloucestershire. During the weekend 30 / 31 July seventeen members of the Chapter made the long journey to Bishop Auckland in County Durham for the Widows Sons National Rally, hosted by the exciting new Widows Sons Masonic Lodge No.10011. This Lodge was consecrated on the 9 April 2022 in Hull, in the Province of Yorkshire North & East Riding. Their exemplary consecration ceremony was led by the Provincial Grand Master Right Worshipful Brother Jeffrey Gillyon, assisted by his team of Provincial Officers.

In addition to enjoying the hospitality and the grandeur of the event, the Wyvern Chapter attended a Special Meeting of the 10011 Lodge, that was held under dispensation; collected their Charter that was presented by the National Chairman, W. Bro Greg Kirby, as well as having time to hold a formal Chapter meeting and their AGM.

All agreed it was well worth the long journey there and back, and an unmissable experience meeting other Chapters from the whole of the UK, Ireland & the Netherlands.
