Welcome to Connaught Lodge

Our aim is to provide up-to-date information for our members and an insight into Freemasonry for non-masons.

Founded in 1912, Connaught Lodge is one of the oldest in the Province of Somerset. We meet on the 3^rd Wednesday of the month, September through to May the following year.

Freemasonry’s roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our cathedrals and castles. We are a unique organisation that has thrived for over 300 years. Having no political or religious affiliations, we comprise members of all ages, races, religions, cultures, and backgrounds. Integrity, Respect for Others and Charity are our core principles: members also enjoy an active Social Life, the Camaraderie, and the Fellowship.

We are always pleased to see visiting Brethren and would welcome new members.
If interested in becoming a Freemason, just ask; you do not have to be invited to join.
