Guide Dogs – Sponsor a Puppy

As a departure from our usual cheque donations, the Lodge has sponsored Jasper, a Guide Dog puppy, for the first two years of his training.

As our charity bank account requires two signatures it was not possible to make a monthly Direct Payment via the Guide Dogs website. So it was agreed with their head office that a one-of payment of £104 would sponsor the puppy; the £104 being equivalent to a monthly Direct Debit over two years. We receive regular updates of Jasper’s progress and brethren can, should they choose to do so, join his Facebook group.

This unique venture for the Lodge could quite well be the start of an on-going relationship the Guide Dogs Association.
